Okay, we entered your home…put new locks on it, and sealed it up.

No motions were filed, so the court bailiff figured that it was a fake out to keep us from locking the home up.

The court system is a dumpster fire. That is all.

Sewage Monday

A sewage line became clogged and then broke underground right near the pea-trap.  DO NOT PUT GREASE DOWN YOUR SINK.

The backhoe was needed to get down to the home’s pea-trap.

Once the trap was removed, the cause of the sewage blockage was found. The white substance in the trap is solidified grease that the homeowner poured down his drain.

While digging and making repairs, we also made a new friend.

Heroin Fight

I am really:30 sad that the camera equipment at this park does not do a better job of taking screen shots of video.  That being said, the image below shows a portion of a fight that lasted from 5:00AM until 7:30AM today.

The cause of the fight?  A group of people bought some heroin together, but the person who was sent to pick up the drugs “pinched” the bag of dope.

In the image, you can only see four people at the top center and to the left a bit.  They have been fighting for over an hour at this point and were all pretty beaten up.  One “suspect,” a 76 year old woman, even grabbed an axe and was swinging it around before one of the men knocked her down.  You can see her behind everybody else, trying to get up.

Storm Drain

During the winter, frost heave caused the road to rise and buckle.  This resulted in a storm drain sinking into the ground and causing a very deep road hazard.  Today we raised it so that anybody unlucky enough to drive through it wont rip a wheel off of their car.

Using brinks and cement, the storm drain ring and its cover were raised 5 inches.

Two New Homes

Park received 2 new homes from a 3 home order.

 

Arson

Recently visited a nearby park that is having some water issues.  People are putting their rent into escrow because the park’s water is failing EPA tests and comes out of the faucets with a dark brown color.  On the way out, saw that somebody purposefully set a home on fire…

They were probably mad about their water, so they did the logical thing and set their house on fire.

The Swing

Not even going to talk about this.

The old resident was a woman who weighed over 300 pounds.

The Roof

High winds swept through the Toledo area yesterday and tore the roof off of an older house.

View from the street. The unfinished car port will not be completed.

Back of the home. Rotten boards caused the roof screws to fail.

Inside the home. The ceiling of the back bedroom is destroyed.

The tin roof was blown back, exposing the ceiling joists and insulation.

View from the roof itself. to repair this home, we had to fold the roof back into place and secure it with new screws.

After contacting the home office, it was decided to demolish the home rather than to replace the roof.  It would cost more than the home is worth to do any repairs.
